How to use this tool
CJ's Curation Suite walks a buyer through every design selection for their home — flooring, tile, cabinets, countertops, appliances, stairs, and structural options — while a live running total shows exactly what each choice adds. It is built for use on an iPad during the selection meeting, and it produces the sign-off sheet and lookbook at the end.
Start on the Projects page
Tap + New to open a project for a buyer. Choose the floor plan, then enter the buyer names, homesite number, address, elevation, and garage handing. Everything saves automatically on this iPad, so you can leave and come back mid-meeting without losing anything.
About the Lot 84 demo project
You will see a project called Model Home · Lot 84 already in the list. That is a demonstration project, not a real buyer — it is pre-filled with the selections from the Model Lot #84 Grand Bay Haven lookbook so you can explore every screen with realistic data before your first meeting.
Feel free to tap through it and change things; nothing breaks. When you are ready for a real client, just create a new project and leave Lot 84 as your reference example.
The Selection Studio
The Studio is organized into tabs across the top — Flooring & Tile first, then Bath & Backsplash, Cabinets, Countertops, Appliances, Stairs, Garage & Structural, Electrical, and Fixtures & Paint. Each tab shows large touch-friendly cards: tap a level, then a color, then a pattern or finish.
Every room starts at the Standard (included) level, which prices at $0. Choosing an upgrade level shows its price right on the card, and the room's square footage is already filled in from the builder's pricing matrix — there is nothing to measure or type.
The running total and What-If bar
The dark bar pinned to the bottom of the screen always shows the buyer's current upgrades total. The moment you tap a different option, it tells you what that change does — for example, "Switching to RevWood LVL 2 adds $2,265" — so you can answer "what if we…" questions instantly, out loud, in the meeting.
Sign-off sheet and Lookbook
The Sign-off Sheet tab lays out every selection on printable pages in the style of the master colorsheet, ready for the buyer to review and sign. The Lookbook tab turns the same selections into a widescreen visual presentation with swatches and room-by-room boards. Use your browser's Print command on either one to save a PDF or print.
Placeholders to know about
A few things are intentionally standing in until final information is confirmed — good to know before a real meeting:
- Swatch images are stand-ins. The colors and textures on the cards are approximations until the actual product photos are loaded in.
- Countertop prices are entered in the meeting. The pricing matrix does not list countertop dollars, so the countertop cards let you type in the quoted price on the spot.
- Credits are not deducted yet. Standard-inclusion credits from the matrix are not currently subtracted from the running total.
- Two plans are missing room square footages. WatersEdge and Endless Summer do not yet have per-room measurements, so flooring pricing on those plans is incomplete.
- Stairs pricing covers three plans. Bay Haven, Grand Bay Haven, and Endless Summer have stair option pricing; the others do not yet.
- Projects live on this iPad. Everything is saved in this browser on this device — it does not sync to other devices yet.
Questions or changes? Jot them down during your next meeting and send them over — the tool is meant to grow with how CJ Decor actually runs selections.
